Everytime I blog these days is only when I'm reminded that I have a blog. Today I caught up online with an old blogger friend and before signing off he refered to me as Miss Short story which set me thinking...and this is how here I am posting.It's a little sad because somewhere I feel the passion to write, missing inside.It could be because I have chosen a 'less complex' life for myself and I have no real life inspirations to write about or maybe I am just too lazy.
I'm happy with my life now, more at ease and more at peace. I am done with my love for the complicated. Though I dont miss that, my 'complex confused' life was fun. Of course, it was tiresome but it fuelled my creativity. I started this blog after a hurtful relationship.I had a lot to let out. And then I took inspirations from not just my story but from the lives of my close friends. Four years and few relationships later I read some of my old posts and smile.Yes, I have grown up. Some of the stories I had written did actually come true. Every relationship, no matter how brief, had something nice to offer. Even if sometimes it ended with people getting hurt, when I look back I do find some nice memories.
This is how things finally end for some of my favourite characters:
Ryan finally found someone he loved. He's waiting for her answer now. He called me up to tell me, how it feels to be on the other side waiting...I wished him all the best!
Daniel is now engaged. Elly is happy for him.
Riya was finally with Al after six long years. Even though they didn' last long, Riya was happy to have her 'story' complete. Long distance relationships still doesn't work.
Devil, the erstwhile poet with a will is doing good for himself. He's
smart but a little stuck up. Angel needn't worry about him anymore, she has grown up and so has the devil. She knows, the devil can take care of himself. Goodbye, Devil.
Liz met this amazing guy when she had become cynical of love. The guy persisted, loved and cared...and now she hopes it's for real and for ever and for always.
